Cancellation Policy

Please remember to cancel or reschedule 36 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 36 hours. The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 minutes. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your sessions. Requests to change the 50-minute session needs to be discussed with the therapist in order for time to be scheduled in advance. Appointments canceled with less than 36 hours' notice or missed without notice will be charged half of the session fee, which is not covered by insurance. This fee must be paid before or at the time of your next appointment. A $35 service charge will be charged for any checks returned for any reason for special handling. Exceptions may be made for emergencies or unexpected illness at the provider's discretion. Multiple missed appointments or late cancellations may result in termination of services.
